The Baltimore Improv Group and XFest, a comedy festival featuring gender minority performers, is offering a free Introduction to Improv workshop on Wednesday, May 30th for high school aged LGBTQ youth.  Led by improvisers of Casually Dope, Rasheed Green and Ti Coleman, the workshop is designed to introduce participants to the basics of improv. Through simple, fun and supportive games, participants will explore basic concepts like playfulness, listening and agreement – all in a safe and comfortable group setting geared specifically toward young LGBTQ people who are new to improv.  The workshop will be held from 6-8 at the Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) Theater, 1727 N. Charles Street. Space is limited, so please sign up ahead of time by emailing hallie.herz@gmail.com to secure your spot.  The workshop will be followed by a free show featuring Baltimore Improv Group’s Queerprov.
